I see several formats available and size of files is not my highest priority, quality is. Which one gives me the highest quality on an iPod? Apple Lossless? Lame (MP3)? Or one of the other formats that iPods support. Can use the help.

? I'm no expert, but I thought m4a was a file extension that could be used for ALAC (lossless) and MPEG-4 (lossy) formats.
If my understanding is incorrect, then what's the file extension for files that are exclusively Apple Lossless?Comment

.m4a could be Apple Lossless, or AAC (lossy).Comment
