UI does not refresh on CD insert

I noticed what may be an anomaly with R14.

I have two drives.

If drive 1 is not in use.
And R14 is set to use drive 2.
And I insert a CD in drive 2.
R14 automatically refreshes the UI.

If drive 1 is in use.
And R14 is set to use drive 2.
And I insert a CD in drive 2.
R14 behaves as if there is no CD in drive 2.
As soon as I click the drive name in the UI, the UI refreshes with the CD.

It appears as if the auto insert detection code does not function correctly when the other drive is in use.
