    Pioneer 112D vs LITE-ON 52327S

According to the CD/DVD Drive Accuracy List 2008, the 112D is rated 94.9402% and the 52327S is 98.1123%. But the 112D supports C2 error pointers while the 52327S doesn't, though I'm not sure just how much that matters.

Which drive would be the better to rip audio CDs?

    Re: Pioneer 112D vs LITE-ON 52327S

Actually I made a mistake in my original post. The 52327S DOES support C2 error pointers.

I performed a test using a scratched CD and the Lite-on was able to read the CD while the Pioneer had an insecure error. Options were set according to file:///D:/PROGRAMS/dBpoweramp/Help/dMC/cd-ripper-setup-guide.htm.

So clearly the Lite-on is the better drive for ripping.
