Local Cache Not Being Read

I copied a local cache file [CDRipperCache.bin] from the main computer I use to rip at home to my laptop that I'm using while away from home. I have ripped several CD but any time I reincert a CD none of my changes to the Metadata are used.

How can I make sure the local cache is being used correctly?

I've also increased the size of the cache to 500 MB. Is there a maximum size that should be used?

Is it in the right folder on the laptop? if you insert a new disc (type some metadata) then the modification date on the file should change (on the laptop)
