Virus warning - is it dBpoweramp?

Does dBpowertamp generate temporary files in the format dBP*.tmp in the "temp" folder?

Recently, my virus software (Avast5) has been generating "suspicious file" warnings for files in this format. Just now it has warned me about a file called "dBP90A.tmp". I used various scans and bits of anti-virus/anti-malware software, but these files and warnings keep re-appearing.

Before I worry too much about this I'd just like to eliminate the obvious answers, and one would be that this is an innocent dBpoweramp file...

It does yes. I would question the virus checker because a .tmp even if it was a virus is useless (.tmp will not execute or do anything on Windows).

I think my Avast is doing the same thing. I must confirm this later today or when I see the warning message again. Whenever I get the message, I did not realise it maybe be dbpoweramp.

I normally delete it as part of Avast warning option. I hope deleting it is ok.

Avast should not be deleting dbpoweramp temporary files, these are needed to pass information from the Music Converter, or CD Ripper >> Core Converter, etc.
