    Ripping Problem

    Hi, just done a clean install of R14. Had a few probs, regards output settings & pasting Naming Scheme. Keep outputting to 'C' > Users > Music etc, well not even that at first, everything rips then error. That seems to have sorted, but CD Ripper/ Encoder errors every track, still can't open output Folders, so still error on every track. Ripping to Flac Folder on a another Ex Drive, & MP3 to another Ex HDD, both connected via SATA. Using Multi Encoder.
    Everything worked OK, same PC, same OS but clean install of Vista, with R13.

    Anything obvious, that will solve my problem ?

    Cheers BOB

      Re: Ripping Problem

      Hi, Error ripping to [Multi Encoder], 'Track 1' to 'M:\MP3\The Who\The Who by Numbers\01-Slip Kid.IGNORE'
      FLAC: Error unable to open file 'D:\FLAC\The Who\The Who by Numbers\01-Slip Kid.flac'for writing. [dEncoder:BeginConversion}

      Not best typist, but near enough or maybe correct :smile2:
      Checked security, permission etc, gave etc for things, still no luck.
      Certainly make copy & paste work in everything, don't always work, good for us one digit typists & prob those who ain't.

        What is Drive D: often it is the CD drive and you cannot write to it.

          Hi, H & I are my optical drives. So prob ain't there :(
          But thanks for mentioning 'D' drive, just checked & MP3 Folder/ File looks OK. It was missing there as well, but not now. So try a few things on 'D' drive, disconnecting etc etc.
