Error failed to create output file

I am currently ripping cd's to different locations with wav, aiff, and flac encoding. Everything is working for the most part; however, occasionally a track will rip but not encode. I receive the error message: aiff: error failed to create output file [dEncoder]::BeginConversion. It only happens on a few tracks. The remainder of the cd will rip fine. When I try to rerip the problem track, I get the same message. Any ideas why certain tracks will not encode properly?

    Thanks,

    Jay

It is failing because Windows has yet to issue the password to the NAS, so this is an issue between Windows and your Time Capsule (it is not down to a program to set passwords when writing files).

So even though it sends the correct password on all other tracks during the same ripping session on the same cd and continues to have this problem only on those specific tracks when I try to rerip them during a later session, it is a communication problem? I have ripped about 200 cd's so far and have received this message 5-10 times for single tracks. When it begins the encoding process, it immediately shows the error message. Even though it shows that the error had to do with the aiff encoding (to macbook through time capsule), the wav encoding on the pc I'm ripping to has failed as well. Could it be an issue with the individual tracks? The rip shows as accurate.

I'm definitely a newbie on this, but I don't understand what is happening here.

            Thank you for your attention,

            Jay

A timing problem between the NAS and your computer.
