    perfectmeta bug?

Maybe I'm missing something, but isn't the perfectmeta feature supposed to try and correct errors automatically?

Check the following example, why does cdripper choose AMG's album name "Live from Stockholm" when both GD3 and freedb lists it as "Ancestral Song" , ie2 out of 3 sources? Same with spelling on artist name and tracks 4 & 5...?

    Hi,

Because the various providers have different weightings.

    Edit: See this

Ok, that explains it, but what kind of strange weighting is that, does AMG always win or what?

In this case the other two have identical information/spellings (and they are the correct ones) so if two can't win over one then what's the point?

As GD3 had the blanks (its missing tracks) filled from freedb at some point, a match of freedb and gd3 mean nothing. If musicbrainz had the track also it would have corrected.
