    Copy Profile

Is it possible to copy a profile from one computer to another? If so, how is it done?

    Thanks

It is not recommended as some settings are drive specific.

I understand and thought that might be a problem. Could one do it knowing that you need to go back to the drive and retest the cache, C2, etc. ?

You could, the settings are in the registry HKCU\Software\Illustrate

Hello Mr Spoon, if we wanted to go down this route, do we need to copy the entire Illustrate registry, or would just the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Illustrate\dBpoweramp\C DRipper\Profiles do?

While on the topic, would it be possible to add a profile and/or wizard which would help configure the ripper to achieve the best possible results. This would enable Secure Ripping with optimal settings for AccurateRip/C2 error pointers/Re-reading?

Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

          Regards,
          Gavin

Many settings are CD drive specific, so you would have to re-run c2 pointer test, etc after restoring the registry.
