Multi Encoder not Writing Correct File Names

I am using R14 with the multi-encoder to encode Apple Lossless and FLAC at the same time. Unfortunately the encoders do not want to right the correct file names for a multi-disc CD.

I am using the following dynamic naming string:

    [IFVALUE]album artist,[album artist],[artist][]\[album]\[IFMULTI][disc]-[][track] [title]

The FLAC is written to the base folder C:\Music\FLAC\
and the Apple is written to base folder C:\Music\iTunes\

Here is the information log from the rip:

Multi-Encoder its self has a naming string...

Re: Multi Encoder not Writing Correct File Names

How do I change the naming string in ME?

I see the naming string in the lower left corner that is greyed out. Then there aer the naming strings in the individual encoder settings.

I have placed the same naming string in all three locations.

Furthermore, why would the log show it is writing the correct names [not sure about the ".IGNORE" extension] but then the names are not correct in the destination folder?

Re: Multi Encoder not Writing Correct File Names

The .IGNORE is the virtual filename that that is generated by CD Ripper, Multi-Encoder has to generate its own.

Make sure you are writing the Disc number ID tag, as without it the multi-encoder cannot use the value.

I checked my CD Ripper: Meta Data & ID Tag Options and under "write ID Tags" the "Disc Number" is checked.

I also have a check next to "Disc number without disc count" if that matters.

That is why, only if the disc count is known does it know it is part of a multi disc set.

I'll change that and give it another try.

                Thanks
