Spoon...
We create custom tags for such things as Producer, UPC, Label, Location and Copyright when ripping CDs using R13.5 or now R14.
Note: We create the custom tag UPC even though it is also checked in the Write ID Tags list. Otherwise, this field name does not show up in the Meta Data for All Tracks display at the bottom of the CD Ripper window.
After ripping the CD, these tags are written to our FLAC files correctly. This is of course as expected and thus good.
However, when and if the CD is put back in the drive tray at a later time, the data for the custom tags does not reappear, even when only the local (dbpoweramp) cache is interrogated.
How can this be fixed so that all of the album meta data is retained locally?
TIA
