Quality of FLAC files from Diferent sources

Hi

Not sure where I can post this but will FLAC files differ from different sources? I rip my CDs to FLAC and I am very happy with the results. I left compression at default.

I test a FLAC file ripped from a different source and different ripper (EAC) but I feel the quality is not as good as mine. Can this be true and not a placebo effect?

Placebo, dBpoweramp has a calculate Audio CRC codec, convert to flac files to it and it shows the CRC for the files, if the number matches the files are the same.
