    Secure ripping

    Hi guys,

Is anyone can answer theses questions for me please??

1 - Is it necessary to use secure ripping to extract audio from a BRAND NEW CD? I mean with no scratch

2 - If I extract audio from brand new Disc using the "secure ripping" option, does it affect the quality of the music?

3 - I understand that when CRC is green, it's secure, when it's red it's insecure, but I don't understand what does it mean when it is black?

4 - If the warning icone i appeared but it says secure, is it necessary to re-rip this track or because it says secure so it means I don't have to?

    Thank You

    Re: Secure ripping

    1) Yes - manufacturing defects cause errors also
    2) If accuraterip verifies the rip is it 100% correct
    3) Black means it has no previous rip to compare to (your rip, not Accuraterip).
    4) If it does not match AccurateRip and the other tracks do, yes.
