    Album Infor for Imported CDs?

Alot of my contemporary jazz CDs are from Japan. Some may not be available elsewhere but japan or a Japanases release only.

Will dbPoweramp pick up those details prior to ripping?

I put an imported (Japanese) Cd and it seem to be able to get the album details (artist, album name, tracks etc) but am not sure it's just for that CD by chance?

If the cd is in one of the online databases, yes, but there is no guarantee.

If it's not in any of the online db, what can I do?

Can I manual type in those details in the CD info fields (Artist, Album, Year, Genre, Year?) or type in actual track name is it's showing just 'track'?

You can enter your tag information manually as you figured out. Or you can use a program like Mp3tag after you rip. Mp3tag can pull tag information from several free databases to add tag information to your files.

Mp3tag is a powerful and easy-to-use tool to edit metadata of audio files.

Thanks but if those albums info is not available from the free dbs in dePoweramp, won't Mp3tag also bring up nothing, assumming the free several dbs are use by both dbPoweramp and Mp3tag?

You can type in to CD Ripper, select a track and press F2 to begin editing.
