Manipulate Year Tag

Hello,

Is there any way to automatically restrict the Year tag to the 1st 4 characters when ripping a CD?

The available metadata is inconsistent from CD to CD ( Some CDs have YYYY, others have YYYY MM DD, etc) and I want to be able to restrict the Year tag to YYYY. I have tried various ID tag processing options, but nothing appears to work.

CD Ripper >> Options >> Meta Data there is an option here to set only as 4 chars.
