    General ripping error question.

I'm ripping a 4 cd box set that I have only played a few times. 3 cds rip with no errors, but 1 of the disc has errors half way through the disc. I'm sure the disc in not damaged. I've ripped many cds and have very few errors, so I know the drive is configured correctly. What causes ripping errors on new cd's and what is the best way to rip a disc with this type of problem?

The disc has a error, even it is not scratched it can have a manufacturing defect.

OK, so what would be the best way to rip this disc to obtain the best quality possible?

Ripping it as is gives the best result your drive can give, but there are still errors.
