CD Ripper Guide Replaygain Quick Question!

I'm using this guide to setup CD ripper.

And I have noticed that if a track gets a error and when having to re-rip a track the new track(s) have different replaygain album values than the other 1 pass rips. Is this normal or do I just have to re-covert all the FLAC files in that album folder to FLAC with the replaygain DSP in the music converter program to get the correct values?

Spoon can you help me please?

Because it is reripping only a few tracks, your album replaygain will not be correct (as it bases this only on the new tracks ripped). So if you end up reripping some of the tracks from an album, it is best to select all the FLAC files from the album and then run ("convert to") the replaygain DSP. This will redo all the replaygain tags based on ALL the tracks. This doesn't rerip or convert, just redoes the replaygain tags only.

But don't you select FLAC and your compression level in the music converter and add the replaygain dsp? then all the ripped files would overwritten

You can also use foobar2000 to scan for ReplayGain values.

In this senario, because you rip the whole album, the Album gain would be correct, but then you re-rip a single track and the album gain would be wrong, would be to install the ReplayGain utility codec, then after ripping the single track convert the whole album of tracks to Replay Gain and the album gain is written again.

Is there anyway to batch convert with the replaygain dsp spoon? or will that give it all the same album replaygain tags? I don't particularly want to go to each album folder in convert 1 album at a time.

You can do multi albums at the same time, just make sure if you have two albums with the same name that an album artist is set.
