    Configuring AccurateRip

    Hi Folks,

This is my very first post on this forum, so - hello everyone!

Anyway, I just installed dBpoweramp release 13.5 yesterday. I seem to have run into a problem configuring AccurateRip. Although I did a forum search for AccurateRip and got many results, I couldn't find one that answered my question. I get the following error message:

This Key Disc cannot be used for offset detection (it does not match the one stored in AccurateRip's database) please try a different Key Disc.

Can anyone shed any light on this and let me know what I need to do?

    Thanks in advance.

You just need to keep trying CDs until it recognises one, I'm afraid.

Thanks, Thg. Looks like a pretty extensive choice (). A quick look at the list has shown that I have at least six albums on there. Great stuff!

When I wrote the above, I was very optimistic. Now, over a dozen listed albums later, I have only one that AccurateRip recognises as a Key Disc. Methinks, this is going to be a long haul.

My problem with the CDRipper is, that it did recognize one particular disc and configured itself. But after re-starting the program, it said it needs to be configured again and will not accept the same disc as a key disc anymore! Even after several retries. Any ideas?

If it configured then that should be it, no more configuring. Restarting the program would not change that.

Well, that's weird, after a restart accurip is reporting to be configured correctly. I guess it was just a glitch on my side.
