Modifying Artist Tag for Some but Not All Songs

Hello. I have noticed in dBpoweramp that once a disc is loaded and the metadata summoned that I can modify, track-by-track, the title, the genre, and the composer, by highlighting the track and entering the appropriate information in the boxes above. Unfortunately it appears however that even if a single track only is highlighted, if I edit the artist, it edits the artist for all tracks, not just the highlighted one. Any other way to do this? Am I missing something?
