    CRC question

    Hi,

Can anyone tell me why this happens after a rip? Under the CRC column, why is that the fonts of the CRC confirmations are sometimes black, sometimes green and sometimes red? I can't figure it out after a lot of research but different color fonts show up all the time...

    Thank you.

    Re: CRC question

The first time you rip a CD, the CRC values are black.

If you re-rip the CD, the CRC values are:

    * Green is the CRC values match the previous rip

    * Red if the CRC values do NOT match the previous rip

      got ya, thanks!

It confirms - the first time I ripped it my NAS was turned off and got all errors. Forgetting it was off I ripped it again and same error message. Then I figured out my NAS was powered off so I fired it up and ripped it the third time and got the red fonts. Will a fourth yield red, white and blue?

      Thanks man!

You really want to see green there for the CRC as that is a matching rip with the previous one.
