    Insecure Rip Questions

Fairly new to the art of ripping, some help, advice, guidance needed.

Q1. What can be done about insecure rips and what does this actually mean, will they still play?
Q2. Is there a way to bypass the re-rip and take the first effort even if it is insecure, the re-rip process takes ages, and I guess stresses the drive?
Q3. Why would only 1 or 2 tracks be insecure when all of the other tracks ripped perfectly?

    Many thanks

If you are using secure ripping and get insecure rips you can try cleaning the disc, using a different drive, or repairing or having the disc repaired. If spoon decides to include it the CTBD feature could actually repair these insecure rips

yes, you can just do a burst rip, but most people here would suggest you do secure ripping.

because the scratch/dirt/damage may only be over part of the disc
