    Ripping to Flac

I have recently bought the full version of db poweramp, and have ripped app. 10 cd's with no problems whatsoever.
Suddenly I get the message, that there is a problem ripping to the flac format!
It just writes error to all the tracks.
    Can You help me?

    Best regards

What message do you get? Can you rip to other formats successfully? Can you try ripping to another format followed by converting the created file to flac?

Have you tried reinstalling the flac codec?

        Re: Ripping to Flac

I have discovered what was wrong: It was simply that the path to the NAS had been inactivated, so I just had to reestablish this; and then everything works fine again.

By the way! Does anyone in here have recommendations concerning the best settings in DB Poweramp, if you want the best possible audio quality, when ripping to FLAC? I am thinking about Burst vs Secure, compression level etc.

Compression makes no difference (it is lossless), secure is better as it can detect and (potentially) recover ripping errors.
