    Start-up time too long

The CD ripper is taking hell of a time to start, and normally freezes while reading CD from the drives - both virtual and physical.

Second, if the online metadata services don't provide any cover image, and we need to insert our own manually, the ripper, by default, looks in the dBpoweramp folder first. Since the image is not residing there, obviously, it gives an error, whereby, we have to direct it to the right folder. It would be more convenient it could remember the path it last accessed. I didn't encounter this problem in the previous versions. If there is any setting that would fix it, please tell me about it.

    Thanks.

Try R14 beta (beta section of the forum), there have been improvements in that area (startup).

The default folder is a product of your Windows, I am running Windows 7 and it defaults always to the last used folder.
