    DSP error

I have received the following error:

    Error ripping to [Multi Encoder], 'Track 5' to 'F:\Music\New Rips\Patricia Barber\The Premonition Years; 1994-2002 Pop Songs\05 - Patricia Barber - She's a Lady.IGNORE'
Error: Copying Temporary Rendered Live-DSP file, over Temp Non-Live DSP file, disk full?. [dBCoreConverter::HandleNonLiveDSPs]

    What does this mean?

Try opening explorer (windows explorer, not internet explorer) and type in the address bar %tmp% as this location has to have about 1GB free space to be sure.

Something is locking the file (it is being moved), try disabling your security software as a test.

This seems to be a random event with or without security software (Norton 360) enabled. I have now had several instances of this error while ripping other CDs. I have discovered that re-ripping the track usually (actually, so far, always) results in a secure rip. I'm wondering whether the destination location makes a difference. I am ripping from a laptop mounted CD drive to a USB attached external hard drive.

              Hi,

Just to say that I think I'm seeing the same error:

Error ripping to [Multi Encoder], 'Track 2' to 'C:\Users\Public\Music\Pink Floyd\Is There Anybody out There¿ The Wall; Live 1980-1981, Disc 1\Pink Floyd - 02 - In the Flesh¿.IGNORE'
Apple Lossless: Error: Copying Temporary Rendered Live-DSP file, over Temp Non-Live DSP file, disk full?. [dBCoreConverter::HandleNonLiveDSPs]
I will try disabling my AV to see if it makes a difference, but as per the previous poster - it appears both randomly and frequently. What's more the log file at the end shows that the rips were accurate.

The work around I have at the moment is to re-rip just to be sure. I am saving to local disk and there is plenty of free space (200GB). I am ripping FLAC and Apple lossless (max. compression).

              Thanks,

              Andrew

Ok - disabling AV fixed the issue.

                Thanks,
