Meta data in WAVs

I've noticed that when ripping WAVs that the ripped files contain ID tags, I was wondering if these tags are in ID3 format or some format created by dBpoweramp

Hi Spoon,

With the WAV ID3 tag, is it possible to place it in the same place as with MP3s, etc. instead of in a RIFF chunk, in order for other programs to be able to recognise them.

No program would look for an id3v2 in a wave file on the chance it was there, it would also break the wave file.
