how do I rip as one?

To get rid of the jitter between mp3 tracks, I would like to rip several CD tracks to one mp3.

However, when I use the rip as 1 button it seems to want me to identify the precise moments I want to start and stop ripping.

Is there not some way of just specifying which 2 or 3 tracks I want to rip to one track (which is how it works in FreeCD) rather than having to listen through the album and finding precise moments in time for me to left and right click on the bar?

    thanks

Only by clicking on the bar can you set the start and stop positions.

if you don't mind my saying, that is crazy - in EAC you can select tracks to rip as one, you don't have to spend time listening to the CD play and then jump in with a mouse click.

This works the same as in EAC. After clicking on Rip as 1, you will see a graph come up. Under the graph are numbers representing the track *blooper* on the disc. If you wanted to rip the first 4 songs on Dark Side of the Moon, you would simply left click at the beginning of the graph (if you don't hit the exact spot it will snap to the track starting point just like EAC), then right click at the line were track *blooper*4 ends. After you rip that section, you go back and rip the rest of the cd any way you see fit. Don't forget to go to your destination folder and rename the rip as 1 track and put in id tags or it lists it as 0 Rip as 1 as the filename.
