How to convert mpeg4 video to cd for dvd use

I have an mpeg4 video which I have downloaded and I wish to save this on a cd so that I can play it on a dvd player. I am a newbie here - someone suggested that I use dbpoweramp so I am checking it out to see if this would be the right product. Can anyone tell me if its the best programme to use and if so what do I do?

dBpoweramp is audio software, not video (topic locked so does not fill up with video conversion chat).
