Rip to Apple Lossless over network

Hi, perhaps someone else has got this to work. I am trying to multi-encode, sending one FLAC file to my laptop's hard drive and ALAC to an external drive connected to my iMac via file sharing. FLAC outputs to my laptop, but I cannot get ALAC to work. AIF does work, so I don't think it is a network issue. Also, I tested ALAC to laptop drive and that works fine.

The error message i get is listed below:

Apple Lossless: Error unable to open File '\\IMAC\automatically add to itunes\Vaughan Brothers, the\Vaughan Brothers, the - Hard to Be.m4a' for writing. [clEncoder::BeginConversion]

Any ideas?

Try the latest beta version from the beta section of this forum.

Tried the beta, no change. For now I will rip to the internal drive.
