    Save drive configuration?

I cannot seem to find any way to export or save the drive configuration for a particular CD drive in the ripper. Is this possible? When using more than one CD drive, or after a re-install it would be nice to not have to run through all of the scratch/no-scratch CD tests for secure configuration.

    Thanks!

    Re: Save drive configuration?

Many (but not all) of the drive settings can be found in the registry at:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Illustrate\dBpoweramp\C DRipper\_DriveSettings

While this registry key holds most of the drive settings, it does not hold (I dont think) the drive offsets. I am not sure where those settings are kept.

You can backup this registry key (or the entire Illustrate node) by starting RegEdit.exe and navigating to the node. Then right click the node (folder) and choose the "Export" option from the context menu. This will create a .reg file which can then be used at some later point to import the settings.

To import the .reg file at a later point (or on a different machine) simply double click the file in Explorer. You will be asked if you want to add the information to the registry...simply choose yes and your dbPoweramp settings will be written to the registry.

    Also see this thread:
Is there any way to back up all my settings so I can easily restore them if I decide to format?

    Hope this helps.
