    The Beatles - 2009 Remasters

Is there any reason the Beatles 2009 stereo remasters are not yet in the AccurateRip database? I just bought Let It Be at a local big box retailer and dBpoweramp CD Ripper states it is "Not in AccurateRip."

I thought, surely by now, it would be showing up in the database.

    Thanks!

You can look on AccurateRip.com the last time the database was updated, it will be November when the next update takes place.

will there be a time when the AR db is updated more often, or even in real or semi-real time?

and if not, what is preventing such realtime/automatic updates?

It takes about 2 days of quad-core and ram disk (ie 100x faster than SSD or HDDs) to create the AR database.

yes but databases are normally designed to be kept update real time so that creating them is a one time thing and then modified via sql insert/drop/updates etc. why spend 2 days batch processing/rebuilding when each update transaction should be taking milliseconds real time.

Probably that the submissions are not auto-populated in the database, just added in the monthly update. Also, if 30 days makes it take 2 days, even daily is still a few hours each day.

I think most users would prefer that. I would think this is the sort of thing that could be automated, but I don't know.

It is probably in its current setup due to implementation decisions done for AccurateRip in the beginning, since originally it was updated by e-mail submission. Maybe AR2 will be able to update more often, but who knows.

                    Ripping Beatles Remastered to FLAC.
All ok except for one strange issue with the Beatles For Sale CD:

                    It comes up as:

                    Artist: The Searchers
Album: The Very Best of the Searchers?

                    The cd converts to FLAC.
The songs are the Beatles Songs but they are mislabled and under this misnamed album title?

                    Any ideas?

                    Thanks
                    Alex

The Beatles - Let It Be is still coming up with the Inaccurate rip results. The other 12 CD's in the collection all ripped fine.

I'm apparently doing something wrong. I just got one of the remasters (Help!) and it won't rip. Every song gives me an error like this:

Error ripping to FLAC, 'Track 8' to 'F:\Music\The Beatles\Help\The Beatles - Act Naturally.flac'
Error unable to open File 'F:\Music\The Beatles\Help\The Beatles - Act Naturally.flac' for writing. [clEncoder::BeginConversion]

I just ripped another CD yesterday that worked fine. Same settings.

Any ideas? I put this here given that it was a remaster and thought it had a sliver of a chance of being related.
