CoreConverter stopped working in Windows 7

Installed 64-bit Windows 7. This required complete re-install of all apps. Reinstalled dbpoweramp CD ripper. Trying to test on first rip and got an error. "dbpoweramp CoreConverter has stopped working". It appears to have ripped the files successfully, but no tag information was included. FYI, I ran this successfully just a few days ago under Vista SP2 32-bit. Any idea what can be done? Thanks, G

Ripping the CD to Apple Lossless. Does the format make a difference?

Do you get tags in other formats?

          Try:

Changes: Apple Lossless 24 bit encoding & decoding supported Improvements made to Apple Lossless compression Added new tag recognition: Title Sort, Artist Sort, Album Artist Sort, Album Sort, Composer Sort Bug Fix: for detecting high frequency ALAC files ( > 48KHz) Bug Fix: able to read ALAC files with area of NULLs
