    delayed write

pretty new to this .. I couldn't find previous reference to this problem .. when ripping cd's , nearly everytime the first track triggers a 'windows delayed write' error, and is subsequently ok when re-done .. any clues?
    - it's making the process quite tedious!
    thanks

Delayed write is an error if a device is removed which you write to. You have any removable storage?
