13.3 doesn't seem to use both cores

I've got 13.3 installed on a new WinXP computer (and this behaviour was the same for me in 13.2 on my old WinXP computer, but not so for 13.1 on the old computer)

When ripping a CD to Apple Lossless only, it doesn't seem to be using both cores as I remember it did in 13.1. For example once track 1 has finished ripping, track 2 sits at "Ripping 0%" and track 1 sits at "Encoding 0%" for about 4 seconds, after which time the display changes so that track 1 shows e.g. "Accurate (78)" and track 2 starts ripping.

I've tried ripping adding the Multi-CPU force DSP set with both cores ticked, and then set with both cores ticked and the "Do Not Ally to Processor" box ticked. Makes no difference.

You need to make sure you have Reference.

I do indeed have Reference, 13.3, and it's registered.

Do you have the verify option on in the Apple Lossless? this would put a delay at the end (which might stop the display of the 2nd line from updating).
