    Clear Cache with FUA

I've seen several references in threads about FUA only working with Plextor drives. I realize now that I originally tested the FUA clear cache option and dbpa told me that it appeared to work. So I've been ripping with FUA selected. However, I do NOT have a plextor drive (I have a Phillips DVD+-RW SDVD8820). I do in fact get secure rips (either accuarterip or otherwise indicated as secure). QUESTION: Does having FUA turned on with a non-plextor cause any problems for my rips (I hope not, as I've ripped lots of CDs already). And going forward should I uncheck FUA. Thanks.

If AccurateRip verified the rips then they are 100% ok.

If not then potentially an error was marked as secure.

Thanks. So to be clear, I should NOT check the FUA option box since I don't have a plexor drive, even though the test says it appears to clear the cache.

To be safe do not check it.
