I know in the Batch Ripper there is a command line argument that can be used to force the Batch Ripper to use cached metadata. By default (without the command line switch) Batch Ripper does a new lookup each time it sees a disk.
It seems as though the opposite is true for CD Ripper. It seems that it will by defualt use the cache. To get a disk for which metadata has been cached to requery, it is neccessary to click the 'Meta' button. Is there a setting somewhere which will force it to always perform a web query for the metadata?
Thanks,
Steve
