Multi encoder with different meta settings, possible?

    Hi All,

My first post here :-) I'm using the multi encoder to rip to both FLAC for my hifi and MP3 for my portable devices at the same time. However, I would prefer different meta settings for the two formats, is this at all possible? If not, would it be possible to only use FLAC and then the converter in command line mode to create MP3 files more or less automatically after I've ripped to FLAC?

    Thanks.

What different meta settings are you after?

Sorry for not providing that detail in the first post. Specifically I'd like to see different handling of album art. For my MP3 ripping to portable devices I want album art embedded with let's say max. 250px. However, when ripping FLAC it seems my Sonos system prefers not to use embedded graphics, but rather create Folder.jpg files of up to 1000px which is the max. size Sonos can utilize.

You can do this with the latest DSP effects and the ID Tag Processing effect (such as set maximum size)

Thanks Spoon, I wasn't aware of that nice feature! I will download the latest release of DSP processing and try it out. Export/import combined with max art size seem to be exactly what I was looking for :smile2:
