Unless you try you cannot be sure (also how the drive connects to the system, internally it might be going through the USB).

1st- What Do You Mean By "also how the drive connects to the system, internally it might be going through the USB" ???


2nd- The Drive Can Be Taken Out By Just Pulling It Out (All That Holds The Drive In Is A Small Screw Under The Laptop)

PS: Also, I Don't Think It Goes Through The USB Part Of The System

3rd- No One Else Has Ever Done Tests Or CD Rips With This Drive On This Forum ??? (If There Is Any Info Or Feedback By Users Here, Please Point Me To A Source. Thank You)
