Can't get secure rip

I just purchased 13.2 and can't get a secure rip most of the time. When I turn off all aborts, I got 1 CD to give about 90% of the tracks to rip secure, but it took close to 4 hours. Most CD's require re-rips of several thousand frames. I've tried resetting the drive offset to 0 and using several CDs to obtain a new offset: results are always the same (+667). I've tried detecting Drive Read Cache several times using different CDs and always get the same value (39kb). I am using an LG Blue-Ray drive and ripping to a SCSI array. Here is the log:

PS: I also uninstalled, used the clean-up link to delete traces, reinstalled, and got the same results.

Turn off C2 error pointers and retry.

This drive has a faulty firmware.
