    Ratings family pack

    Hi tehre,

Quick question are the ratings for the user to rate or is it like iTunes where there are song or customer ratings on each track or album?

Is it now possible to upgrade from a dBpoweramp reference 13.2 to a family pack online?

Great product far easier than EAC for me thus far.

    Many thanks, Tim.

Where you preference rate the tracks, but use would depend on audio program using.

It is not currently possible to upgrade to the family pack, although it is possible we will offer in the future (we have to change the way the store works).

      Hi there,

Many thanks for the info on the family pack will keep an eye open for any changes to this option.

With regards to ratings is it right that if I rate a song or album then that ratings can be used in other audio programs like iTunes etc. We use Squeezecenter which I'm not sure if it use ratings?

However the ripping process does not have an automatic ratings option when we first insert the CD to be ripped and it is only us the users who can rate and that rating could be carried through to other audio programs? Am I on the right track here?

Finally if I rate whilst ripping to FLAC and then do a batch conversion to MP3's do the ratings carry through to the MP3's?

      Again many thanks, Tim.

Depends on program, I do not think iTunes will use external ratings.
