Review of perfect metadata

Occasionally the ALT M or the drop down does not work. The drop down is greyed out. I have not changed any settings and this has happened once before and then it worked again--I'm not sure why. How do I resolve this? Thanks in advance.

It does not show if there are results from only 1 provider.
