Does dBpoweramp support cue sheets like EAC?

    Hello,

Am I correct, that the current version of dBpoweramp does not support creating cue sheets when ripping CDs in a way that each track is stored as its own file appending gaps to the previous track? I mean like in EAC with the non compliant cue sheet option.

I would REALLY love to use dBpoweramp because the meta tag sounds very great. But I also need a way to store my CDs in a way to burn perfect copies of it (and a non compliant cue sheet is the only option if I don't want to use CD images as far as I know).

    See:

Cue sheet creator, a few requirements of this codec: Only works when ripping audio CDs, All tracks of the CD have to be ripped at the same time. It requires Release 15 of dBpoweramp (currently in testing). There are 2 ways to use this Cue Sheet Generator: 1) Multiple tracks + cue sheet, simply include the DSP Effect: CUE

Which currently is cues, without gap detection.

Ok, does this mean that there is currently no option to archive CDs with dBpoweramp in such a way that I can burn a perfect copy of them afterwards (maybe there is some other way than cue sheets)?

Why is life always a compromise? I really want to rip my CDs in a way so that I can burn perfect copies afterwards but I also want to use the great ripping strategy and the great tagging strategy of dBpoweramp. Is there no way out (except manipulating the Matrix xD)?

Could somebody please confirm, that this statement is true? If so I do not have to longer delay my descision between EAC and dBpoweramp.

If gap detection and preservation then yes, dbpoweramp cannot create the cuesheets you require.
