    Viewing AR checksums directly?

Is there any method for interfacing with the AR database directly? When looking at an old log for a CD that wasn't yet in the AR db, I'd like to be able to compare it with the db itself. Is that possible?

Additionally, do any programs tell you the number of AR entries in the db upon inserting the CD? EAC only shows the icon and XLD shows [AR]. If there are less than 2 results, I rip in secure mode, but if there are more I rip in burst because I know I'm comparing checksums against a decent set of results.

I think you're looking for cuetools:

From what I understand there is no point in turning on burst ripping in this case because the first secure rip is exactly the same as a burst rip and at that point an AR comparison is made, if it doesn't match then it goes into secure ripping.

I think TS wants also a secure rip if confidence is only 1.
Which is something Spoon could program or add as an option.

I have asked for this option, and it seems that it should be easy to implement, but for some reason spoon as not done so. Ideally I would like to be able to set the required AR match number, but certainly >1.
