    Not detecting DVD drive

    The cd ripper refuses to accept that I have a cd drive on my laptop. It's half right, in that my laptop has a dvd burner.. but it's still quite inconvenient.

    using Vista on an Acer ASPIRE 5735 if that's any help :/

    Any advice?

    You have 2 drives on your laptop?

    dBpoweramp Configuration >> Music Converter >> Enable Debugging >> Ok

    Run CD Ripper, then close CD Ripper and post the log file here please.

      Using SCSI PassThrough [clCDDA::SetCommunication]
      ->-> [frmMain::RefreshTrackListing]
      Quitting Meta Thread: Quit
      ->-> [clCDDA::ReturnDriveList]
      <-<- [clCDDA::ReturnDriveList]

        CD Ripper >> Options >> and set the communication to Windows Built-in
