Howto get Ripper to read all tracks before encoding

how do i get the Ripper to read all tracks before encoding?
right now it rips one tracks encodes it and the ripping is stopped until encoding is finished.
What i want is to let it continue ripping so i can change disks when its done ripping.

I don't think you can. However if you have 2 or more drives you could try the Batch Ripper.

Thats a shame, i really liked that EAC did it like that.
Please add that as a feature :smile2:

you need to have the 'reference' version, then it will do multi-cpu encoding and continue ripping. (assuming you have multiple cores)

However that is on a track by track basis. CD ripper still won't rip all the tracks before starting to encode the first which is what jca required.

I think the Batch Ripper would almost allow jca to do what he required but his PC would need at least 2 drives.

shrug, if the ripping doesn't stop and the encoding is done on multiple cores, then that will be faster than waiting till the end to encode.

you could always do rip as 1, of course then you won't have individual tracks.

Cue sheet creator, a few requirements of this codec: Only works when ripping audio CDs, All tracks of the CD have to be ripped at the same time. It requires Release 15 of dBpoweramp (currently in testing). There are 2 ways to use this Cue Sheet Generator: 1) Multiple tracks + cue sheet, simply include the DSP Effect: CUE

apparently cue sheet dsp causes to rip then encode
