    re-rip bad frames

    hi

i'm using dbpoweramp reference in ultra secure mode.
i have drive speed at maximum to re-rip bad frames at the end of the ultra secure passes.

when having 300 or more frames to re-rip, it takes hours to complete even at maximum speed.
i also have tracks that have 800 frames to re-rip, so this will take a whole day for just that track!

is it normal re-ripping of bad frames is SO slow even at maximum speed?

    thx in advance

You are best using an Abort After option, because anything above a few hundred bad frames is unlikely to rip securely.

so it's normal re-ripping of bad frames takes soong?

if I abort my tracks are not ripped, but I want to rip them.
how can I do it (insecurely then) without waiting for hours on just 1 track?

Yes the DVD drive might slow down its self. You can always burst rip those tracks.
