Setting limits on ripping time with batch ripping

I am using a Sony XL1B3 autochanger to batch rip my CD collection to FLAC.

I have set up everything OK and the process seems to work OK. The only problem I have is that whilst most of the disks rip very quickly some do not. I had to abort my last batch rip after one disk was still trying to rip after 6 hours. I tried to skip the disk in question but the system indicated it was aborting that rip but did not.

My cds are generally in pristine condition, but many of my titles are from remote part of the world and unlikely to be in the secure rip database.

Any ideas on how I can set a limit on each rip (say 15 minutes) and is there a simple way of skipping a disc that will not rip after 1 or 2 tries.

    Thanks for any advice.

Click edit next to profile and in CD Ripper >> Options >> Secure Settings >> you can abort after a length of time.

Thank you for this advice. Do you have a suggestion for maximum time? I was thinking about 6 minutes max rip per track, although I am aware that some tracks on my cds may run for 10 minutes or more play time.

THe only issue if you have 1 track CDs (ie 1 hour and a single track), such do exist. 8 mins would be enough to rip these assuming no damage.
