will not find the cd

Have just downloaded the software.

Recognises my cd drive is E but refuses to acknowledge any cd had been placed in the drive - have tried several cds, some I assume predate any copyright protection issues and some newer ones.

Any ideas??

Did you have dMC disable autorun? Did you try clicking the refresh button? Version of Windows and dMC?

Version is R13, tried refresh - no joy, have not checked the box to disable autorun and am using Vista.

Options >> Communication set as Windows Built-in, restar CD ripper.

thanks - seems to work. Will now go and buy a NAS drive and take it from there.
