No CD drive found

Please advice what to do, the CD ripper reports 'no CD drive found'.

There are 2 DVD/CD-ROM drives in the system:
D:\ LITE-ON DVDRW SHM-165P6S ATA
E:\ PLEXTOR CD-R PREMIUM 2 ATA

All,

I need to eat the humble pie it is now working, I was using windows remoting to access the media PC and then it wont work. Using the PC directly (no remoting) all is fine.

If you open Remote Desktop and click the options button, then go to the Local Resource tab, did you have anything in the Local devices subsection checked?
