Write ID Tags -> Checksum

When will this field be written and what exactly will the content be (which checksum)? I failed to get the ripper to put anything in that. I'm using wavpack 4.5 from the beta section of this forum.

It is a CRC of the audio data, your tag viewing program might ignore it (check in dBpoweramps right click on file in explorer >> Edit Tag)

Hi Spoon,

thank you for your quick reply. However I cannot find the field using the shell extension nor foobar2000. Wavpack does itself a md5 checksum of the audio, maybe that field is filtered for wavpack?

They should be written at the same time as AccurateRip ID and result tags, are they written?

Hi Spoon,

yes the AccurateRip tags, ReplayGain (as well as all other) are written fine.

I use the ID Tag Processing DSP to map the Label to the Publisher field, but besides the RG Tag DSP that's the only thing I have configured.

I basically have the same problem with "Raw CD TOC". I cannot get it to write that field whatever I do.

Just checked, TOC is not written to Wavpack, but CDDBID is. I will note as something to lookat.

Yes, CDDB DISC ID does work fine for me as well.

Raw CD TOC works fine for FLAC, so I guess this really is a Wavpack only problem.

However Checksum is not written with FLAC nor Wavpack, so either I'm particular stupid or Checksum is really broken.
