    Multiple output files?

For some reason I had the impression that the ripping function supported two simultaneous output files -- e.g. a lossless file and a much smaller lossy file for use on a portable device. Apparently not, as I can't find the function in the ripper.

Unless, of course, I'm just being blind.

You need to download and configure the multi-encoder "codec":

      Of course, perfect!

Now, if only I could go back in time to BEFORE I'd ripped my entire CD collection . . . And converted all those files.

      Thanks!

If you initially ripped to a lossless format you can use the Batch Convertor to create the lossy format versions.

Yes, it's what I did, but it took a very long time to convert all those files. And in the process I lost all the album art, not having known about the possibility of the settings to take care of that -- but am still having troubles with that.
